It is trite knowledge that the Healthcare sector in our nation, Nigeria is a depressing one -with an alarming death rate of 13.08 deaths per 1,000 inhabitants, a woeful ranking of the 157th best health system in the world and six in ten Nigerians lacking access to primary health services. Specifically, in the Ilaje local

December 2018, IAUSA DC volunteers at a local pantry, helping to providing food and toys to over 200 families. One of our goals as an organization is to promote the advancement of our local communities through diverse outreach programs.

One of INAUSA’s goals is to provide humanitarian assistance to the Ilaje community in Nigeria. We plan to purchase a water ambulance in order to ensure quality and rapid access to care when the need arises.
